Show highlights marine works
In August & September 2008, the artist's work will be featured in a solo show at the distinguished Kensington-Stobart Gallery in Salem, MA. Located at the historic Hawthorne Hotel on Salem Common, the Gallery showcases the work of pre-eminent marine artist, John Stobart, as well as other prominent living artists, together with estate art from the finest Cape Ann and regional artists of the 19th & 20th centuries.

Marine Masters Exhibit
In 2008, the maritime art of Ray Crane will once again be included in the prestigious juried exhibition, A Gathering of Marine Masters, at the Art of the Sea Gallery in South Thomaston, Maine. The exhibit features the work of more than 20 maritime artists and will be on view during the summer months. Contact us to receive more details later this spring.

Visit the artist's studio
In the 2008 season, the Ray Crane Studio and Gallery will again be open to customers, offering a representative selection of works in all sizes. The Gallery is located at 11 Story St., in the Pigeon Cove section of Rockport, 1.5 miles north of the Village. Open daily, by chance or by appointment.


New gallery representation
Crane's work has recently been accepted into the Crane Collection in Manchester by the Sea and the Erlich Gallery in Marblehead, MA. The Crane Collection (no relation) exhibits paintings by 19th and 20th century masters as well as prominent contemporary artists. The Erlich Gallery specializes in contemporary realism and shows paintings by national and international artists.
